T he new owners of this small 2 family home wanted a design they could implement over a period of time which take advantage of the picturesque views overlooking the water. By reconfiguring the interior space and adding a series of small additions, the home will evolve with the changing needs of the family and their budget. A wraparound porch makes each side of the house welcoming and provides shades during the warm months. The main living spaces create a series of “changing rooms” to accommodate multiple functions during each season. Through a series of bi-folding and screen doors, the dining and study areas become a covered outdoor porch with a sliding mosquito net draping the exterior walls.
